There are a good number of helpful websites now that address sex addiction, porn addiction, recovery, spouse and partner betrayal trauma recovery and a number of related issues. And more are being developed all the time.

As with every category of human endeavor, there is a good diversity of approach and style.

… has lots of useful information and resources. It’s solid, research-based and the latest from experts in treating sex addiction and helping spouses, partners and families. You can find a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT). This site is a resource of the International Institute for Trauma Addiction Professionals, the entity from which I have my certification as a Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional.

…offers a tremendous number of resources and groups you can join online, workshops and webinars, much to offer and much to explore.

Your Brain on Porn

…has been around quite a while and has been helpful to so many folks; it’s loaded with articles, research and videos; a great deal of accurate, strategically informative material.

Fight the New Drug

…has an inviting combination of good information, storytelling and high production values.

Culture Reframed

…focuses a lot of its work on equipping parents for raising children in an age of highly sexualized digital media; they offer a lot of resources.

National Association for Christian Recovery

…has a lot of recovery materials for individuals and groups as well as good resources for use in churches and spiritually oriented communities.

Fuller Institute for Recovery Ministry

…is the website for the Fuller Institute of Recovery Ministry, established in 2004 for the purpose of encouraging the development of recovery ministries. This site contains some wonderful video testimonies of recovery from Fuller faculty and alumni, including myself.
